Jerrod Shouse, a lobbyist for the Association of American Publishers, said the publishing industry already has content available electronically, but warned there are a number of “implementation issues” lawmakers should consider, like a lack of technology infrastructure among schools.
Parents may not like what they see at their kids’ schools in the next year or two — larger classes and more tattered textbooks. It’s a very real possibility, and it’s not by accident.
