Lawmakers are looking into what it would take for the state of Oklahoma to move to electronic textbooks rather than traditional textbooks. Association Lobbyist Jerrod Shouse tells the committee publishers are supportive of digital learning.

Jerrod Shouse, a lobbyist for the Association of American Publishers, said the publishing industry already has content available electronically, but warned there are a number of “implementation issues” lawmakers should consider, like a lack of technology infrastructure among schools.
