Lt. Governor Lamb Hosts Inaugural Statewide Young Professional Conference

Oklahoma City, OK—Lt. Governor Todd Lamb is joining chambers across the state and hosting Oklahoma’s first-ever statewide Lt. Governor’s Young Professional Conference.  In discussing the purpose of the conference, the Lt. Governor cited his conviction for Oklahoma’s future generations and keeping them here in the state.

“When I was elected Lt. Governor, one of my priorities was to keep our best and brightest young people in Oklahoma,” said Lt. Governor Lamb.  “They are the future of our state.  Already some of these bright, creative, energetic young professionals are making valuable contributions to our state, and it should be our objective to provide a business climate that allows them to stay and grow in Oklahoma.”

Young professionals from across the state are encouraged to attend the conference that will be interactive with a variety of speakers.

“This conference provides the great opportunity for Oklahoma’s young professionals to engage one-on-one with leaders from diverse backgrounds and fields of experience,” added Lt. Governor Lamb.  “I encourage any young professional to attend to glean ideas and converse with their peers and some of Oklahoma’s finest leaders.”

Renzi Stone, Chairman and CEO of Saxum, will keynote the luncheon session.  Morning and afternoon breakout sessions will focus on entrepreneurship, leadership and political action as well as provide guidance on starting a young professional program in a community.

  • Sherri Coale, OU Women’s Basketball Head Coach
  • Jon Echols, Attorney, Founder of ESW Group of Companies

  • T.W. Shannon, Speaker-Designate, Oklahoma House of Representatives
  • Rep. Emily Virgin, Oklahoma House of Representatives
  • Rep. Elise Hall, Oklahoma House of Representatives
  • G.T. Bynum, Councilor, City of Tulsa

“Young professionals in Oklahoma provide great opportunity and potential to our state,” said Councilor Bynum.  “The Lt. Governor has an extraordinary vision for this generation and the results of his conference will continue for years to come.”

The Lt.
